Bremer Bay Skate Park
The Shire of Jerramngup in conjunction with the Bremer Bay Community, Lotterywest & the State Government, have constructed the new Bremer Bay Skate Park and Civic Square. Most of the materials used in its construction were donated & sourced locally in and around Bremer Bay. Located on Seadragon Ave in the heart of the new Bremer Bay Town Centre it is an all ages facility. With a state of the art skate facility, naturescape play ground that was designed around the wreck of the Agnes and first rate BBQ and picnic areas the skate park offers something for everyone. The community held a large opening event on the 22nd September 2018 to mark the opening of the skate park.
Pelican Park
Located on Mary Rd alongside the Community Resource Centre this park offers a playground perfect for toddlers and also a basketball half court. A beautiful grassed area with a picnic table shaded by a large Peppermint tree.
Paperbarks Picnic Area
Located opposite the change rooms at John Cove the park was upgraded in 2018. The upgrades include a new shelter and table, gas bbq’s and a fantastic new nature based playground for the kids.
Sports Club Playground
Located on Frantom Way at the entrance to the Sports Club. The playground was erected as a part of the Royalties for Regions grant funding and is and all ages playground.
Not For Profit Organisations
The Pelican Op Shop
Open Wednesdays 9am – 1pm
Saturdays 9am – 1pm.
Run by a group of volunteers they support tourism, local events and organisations.
Located on John Street.
Bremer Bay Playgroup
Every Wednesday 9:30 am – 11:30am during School Terms
Held in the Childcare Centre
BREMER BAY ARTS & CRAFTS CLUB
Situated on the Bremer Bay Rd near the caravan park the Arts & Crafts Club meet every Tuesday & Thursday 9:00am – 5:00pm.
Quilting and sewing are the main crafts but anyone is invited to join with your specialty. Also a soon to be revamped Pottery Shed. Watch this space for more info as it comes to hand we will let you know.
BREMER BAY SPORTS CLUB
The Bremer Bay Sports Club is the venue for the sports of Golf, Bowls and Tennis in the lovely seaside town of Bremer Bay on the south coast of Western Australia.
We are situated 200 kms east of Albany and 500 km south east of the capital Perth. We were founded in 1969 with the development of an 18 hole links course with sand greens, and now boast a five rink bowling green, 5 tennis courts 2 with lights and an oval which caters for cricket, football and other athletic pursuits.
Like many clubs in the region, the grounds and playing surfaces are still maintained in outstanding condition by dedicated volunteers who are members of the various clubs.
We welcome new members and visitors to experience our hospitality and to avail themselves of our facilities while enjoying their chosen sport or just be a part of our social club.
